My stay at the hotel was a bit mixed. The location was good, close to the beach and amenities, but it was quite noisy due to the size of the property. The rooms had some issues like noise levels during check-ins and maintenance problems, but I didn't spend much time on the balcony anyway. The service was decent for the price paid, offering both continental and cooked breakfast options. The dining experience was varied and plentiful, although I couldn't enjoy the pool due to cold weather. Overall, it was an average experience with some ups and downs.

Our stay at Sol Y Sombra was a mix of good and not-so-great experiences. The room we had was massive, but the noise levels from reception were quite bothersome. The location was convenient, being close to the beach, but a bit pricey for taxi rides to the main square in Benidorm. The dining options were limited, although the Mexican food was enjoyable.

Our room was rustic and spacious, with two king-size double beds and additional sleeping options. However, the bathroom ceiling and curtain rail were a bit dodgy, and there was a bird nest above our balcony.
